You buy things for a project.
You put them in a safe place.
You forget where the safe place is.
By the time you find the stuff you've gone off the project.
Anybody else recognise themself?
It's me, many times over!
Plenty for the Christmas cards |
Anyway, my 2015 project was to have fewer messy places and as I have worked, fairly steadily, to achieve this goal, I have found the graveyards of many projects so I have decided to use a few things up for Christmas.
Someone will get a lap quilt |
So here's the stash stuff I've found ready for my Christmas cards and the stuff for a lap quilt.
Couldn't resist this fabric! |
Although I did but this lovely fabric to personalise it for my intended recipient.
I'll put the progress reports on my other blog in a couple of weeks.
Guilty as charged. I have a half finished cardigan that I can't muster the energy to finish.
ReplyDeleteMe too. I like projects, knitting, sewing, arts & crafts, decorating. I've always got a project on the go. With winter approaching I'm going to continue renovating my dollshouse.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, the "safe place." There are so many safe places in my house, haha, I don't think a burglar would be able to find anything if he tried.
ReplyDeleteI too have some sleeping projects that need finishing. Oh, boy do I.
Oh yes, I have many of those hiding places and many things hidden away -- it is fun to find them again -- almost like shopping all over again! I need to get busy with two projects before I lose them in some deep, dark shadowy place.
ReplyDeleteThe ribbons will make some lovely ribbon cards for Christmas. Mx
ReplyDeleteOoh, yes, Mandy. I've got a Mandy-inspired-card in mind and you've probably guessed which one!
DeleteI understand completely... I have so many projects on the go - or should I say in stasis!
