I can't believe it's taken less than five days but I have finished the throw I started on Wednesday! Actually Claire-up-the-road thinks she may have more raspberry yarn and if she has I may do a few more rounds, but even without that I've got a cosy throw ready for the winter.
Fantastic! Wow that was super fast.
ReplyDeleteI do want to learn some handi craft this winter-even if I make nothing more than dishcloths and pot holders. this is just lovely.
ReplyDeleteThank you both. It's nearly 3am here and I just can't sleep so I have come through to my sitting room and have the thrown cosily across my legs. I feel smug and snug!
ReplyDeleteWow, that was quick, it's lovely. You're going to be toasty this winter.
ReplyDeleteLove these throws, they always look so warm and cosy,, wish I was clever enough to crochet one
ReplyDeleteCrochet using double knitting wool is really quick and easy to do. This was even faster as my other activities were restricted by a temporary problem with my eyes.
ReplyDeleteHelp please. you found my new blog and left a comment. I am at a loss with this, I am sooo Tech challenged. would you explain on the main blog how and what you did.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was young I smiled when I visited relatives and they had crochet and quilted throws - now I understand why - and I now have them too!
ReplyDeleteI have been trying to teach myself to crochet. So far I think I have single crochet down pretty well -- I think. I love your throw -- very cozy.
